STEVE ROLFE
Steve joined the Commonhealth programme in January 2016, having just completed his PhD at the University of Glasgow, which looked at the impacts of community participation policy and practice in Scotland and England. He is working on Project 7, examining the health impacts of social enterprise in the housing/homelessness sector.
Prior to starting his PhD, Steve worked for 15 years in local government in a range of roles related to community development and community engagement. Steve has particular interests in community activism and in evaluation methodology. He has also taught on a range of under-graduate and Masters level courses in public policy.
